Cannot afford a Finance Director?

Think again….many small companies think they cannot afford a Finance Director, but by working part time or on specific projects, you can bring in the experience of a Finance Director with none of the ties of employment.

Why do you need a Finance Director?

Typically, a finance director or CFO is a senior, board level executive who takes a proactive role in developing a company’s strategy with an eye to its finances. A finance director provides expert input in areas as varied as shareholdings, employee motivation and rewards, business plans, financial control and commercial contracts. Making the business sustainable is part of the FD’s DNA.

Typical Finance Director Services:

• Business strategy and planning
• Cash flow management
• Commercial input and rigour
• Fund raising and managing stakeholders in the business, including regular reporting
• An independent voice and someone to talk to

Recognise any of these? It can be as simple as having someone who understands your business and needs, but just cannot have those conversations with other colleagues, all the way to changing the shape of what you do and who you target.
